TENI London – Terms and Conditions

This page (together with any documents referred to on it) tells you the terms and conditions on which any of the products (“Products”) listed on our website www.tenilondon.co.uk (“our site”) are supplied to you.

Please read these terms carefully before ordering any Products. By ordering from our site, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Information About Us

2. Your Status
By placing an order through our site, you warrant that:
* You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and
* You are at least 18 years old.

3. How the Contract Is Formed
* UK Orders: After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. This does not mean that your order has been accepted. Acceptance occurs only when we send you an email confirming that the Product has been dispatched (“Dispatch Confirmation”). The contract between us (“Contract”) is formed only when the Dispatch Confirmation is sent.
* International Orders (USA, Canada & European Union): All orders destined for delivery outside the United Kingdom are processed and fulfilled by our international partner and Merchant of Record, Global-e (Global-e UK Ltd. or Global-e US Inc.). The contract for the purchase and import of international orders is formed directly between you and Global-e at the moment your payment is cleared and the order is confirmed.

4. Consumer Rights & EU Right of Withdrawal
* UK Customers: If you are contracting as a consumer, you may cancel a Contract within 14 days of receiving the Products. You will then receive a full refund of the price paid, in accordance with our refunds policy.
* European Union Customers: In accordance with EU consumer regulations, customers residing in the European Union have an absolute legal right to withdraw from their purchase contract within 14 days of receiving their items, without giving any reason. 
* How to Cancel/Withdraw: To cancel your contract or initiate an international return, you must submit a request via our standard Returns Portal at https://tenilondon.co.uk/a/return or email hello@tenilondon.com with your order number. You must return the Products within 14 days of notifying us. Return shipping costs for international orders remain the responsibility of the customer.

5. Delivery & Availability
Your order will be fulfilled from our UK warehouse. International express shipments are delivered via premium couriers through the Global-e network, typically arriving within 1–4 business days of dispatch. If any Product ordered is unavailable, we will contact you immediately to arrange a replacement, refund, or cancellation.

6. Risk & Title
The Products are at your risk from the time of delivery. For UK orders, ownership passes to you once we receive full payment. For international orders, ownership and title pass to you upon successful clearance at the destination customs border.

7. Price, Payment & Local Currencies
* UK Orders: Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include UK VAT (where applicable) but exclude delivery costs.
* International Orders (USA, Canada & European Union): Prices will automatically convert and display in your local currency at checkout. International prices dynamically calculate and fully include or display local sales taxes, state taxes, and country-specific import duties upfront at checkout, managed securely via Global-e.
* Pricing Errors: If a pricing error is obvious and could reasonably have been recognized as such, we and our partners are not obliged to supply at that incorrect price.

Promotions & Discount Codes:
* Promotional codes, newsletter sign-up offers, and other discount codes may not be used in conjunction with any other offer and are not valid on sale items, gift cards, or limited-edition releases unless expressly stated otherwise. Only one code may be used per order. We reserve the right to withdraw or refuse codes at our discretion.

8. Refunds Policy
When you return a Product:
* Within 30 days (UK): We refund the product price in full once received and inspected. UK returns are free of charge when processed through our returns portal.
* International Orders: Returns must be processed within 14 days of delivery. Refunds will be processed in your local checkout currency via Global-e once the return arrives back at our facility. International return shipping costs are non-refundable.
* Defective Items: If confirmed defective, you will receive a full refund, including original delivery costs and any return postage costs incurred.

9. Liability
We warrant that any Product purchased is of satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for its intended purpose. Our liability for losses you suffer is strictly limited to the purchase price of the Product and foreseeable losses. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of income, profits, or business opportunities.

10. Import Duties, Cross-Border Taxes & Compliance
* For all deliveries outside the UK, your duties and import taxes are automatically calculated, collected, and prepaid on your behalf at checkout via Shopify Managed Markets (Global-e). Your package will be delivered as DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), meaning no additional fees should be collected upon delivery.
* You agree to comply with all local laws, import restrictions, and regulations of your destination country. 

11. Written Communications & Notices
You agree that communications with us will primarily be electronic (email or website notices). Notices to us must be sent to hello@tenilondon.com.

12. Events Outside Our Control
We and our delivery partners are not liable for any failure to perform or delay due to events beyond our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”), including global logistics strikes, customs border shutdowns, natural disasters, or government actions.

13. Severability
If any term or provision is found invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining terms continue in full force.

14. Entire Agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the supply of Products, superseding any prior understandings.

15. Law & Jurisdiction
Contracts for the purchase of Products through our site are governed by English law. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. International buyers may also retain access to consumer protection rights in their local jurisdiction.
